Hi! I´ve tried to post a comment in your page on Estadão, about education, and I couldn´t finish it! Why is this happening? Thanks for your help! Here is the post, if you don´t mind to read it:

Buenas Carlo!

People tell you the idea is a great thing because they were raised in a time when information was not as available as today. Ideas are rapidly becoming "commodities" nowadays but a lot of people did not realize that yet.

To be able to put those ideas in practice, what you really have to do today is to be able to mobilize people and reach out resources. And this is a matter of combining previous experiences and skills of the founding team with the resources that are available thought the network of the founding team.

I defend that every Business Plan today should have a chapter or page dedicated to "accumulated experience" and "networking" of the founding team. Why? Because then they can "calculate" what skills, experiences and networks are missing to put the idea in place.

ps: Ideas can be important though when there is the possibility of patenting it (very specific cases). That is why I believe that the right combination of effort among business people and hard science fellows can generate amazing entrepreneurial developments in the near future.

Buenos días!

In your post you say you agree with Prof. Blake "nowadays the idea is responsible for about 5% of the success of a venture while proper execution about 95%". Why do you think most of people tells me I have to "sell a great idea" to a venture capital in order to raise financial aid?

According to your post, the goal of a BP presentation should be to show I'm the best manager to develop an idea (which could be the best in the world or just a "not-so-bad idea") instead of only "selling an idea".
Am I wrong?

Best Regards

Very well put. I can appreciate the novelty invested in making the "fear of death" more pertinent than the "act of living".
